Mortal Motivation

Mortal Motivation

We, you, me, I, and all of us are mortal.

We all are getting closer to our death every moment.

Someone has rightly said that:

“Life is a journey from birth to death.”

We walk this path, we take this journey once and only once.

And our journey called life can end now, today, tomorrow or at any moment.

But should this bother us?

Yes and in a right way.

We all know death is inevitable but still almost all of us live as we are never going to die.

We live as if our lives have no value or reason for it.

Being alive is the biggest reason to make the fullest of the moments you have got.

We should accept that death is the ultimate truth and every moment or day we get is very precious and valuable.

We should make the most of it.

As the saying goes:

“Live as there is no tomorrow.”

And this is what mortal motivation is.

Miracle Morning

Mortal motivation is knowing that the moments we have got are priceless.
So worrying, procrastinating, being depressed or any form of negativity is not make worth of the moments we have got.

Mortal motivation reminds us that the clock is ticking and we should make the most of whatever time we have left with in our life.

Is it a few more hours, days months, years or decades? We will never know so why to worry or why we have anxiety.

We should move on, we should get up, we should start over because to make the most of the moments we have got, we should act.

One of the biggest way to get mortal motivation is to think about the current crisis world is facing, the COVID-19.

Don’t you think worrying about tomorrow is of no use as there is no tomorrow promised?

I have already written a separate post on what I have learned from coronavirus or COVID-19 and how it motivates me.

Why mortal motivation?

I think mortal motivation is the best.

Because it shows and makes us aware/accept the simplest yet the most powerful truth of life: death.

And after this people react in two ways: Either they start worrying and complaining about this truth or they look at the other side of the coin.

What is on the other side of the coin? Life.

Life is on the other side of the coin.

Yes it is true that we will die but before we die we have a life to live either beautiful and peaceful or unhappy and anxious is up to us.

So take this mortal motivation, know that you have only today, no tomorrow, no yesterday, no one day, no someday, no D-day, only and only today.

So why worry about them?

Don’t waste moments on worrying, on thinking about the past, about the people that are gone from your life, the bad experiences that you had, the losses that you faced, the goal that you missed.
